Jamie started cooking at the age of 8, helping out in the kitchen of the Cricketers pub in Essex which his parents ran. He later studied at
the Westminster Catering College where he met his wife Jools.
After successfully starring in the BBC cookery series the Naked Chef, Return of the Naked Chef, and more recently Happy Days with the Naked Chef, Jamie
turned his hand to helping others. He took 15 under-privileged kids and trained them into professional chefs to staff his new restaurant "Fifteen".
Jamie is involved in supporting a number of different causes and often writes for newspapers and magazines. He has published numerous books and released
DVD's, a video, a CD and a range of high quality cooking equipment.
